Do I need to hold crypto to use this? +
No. Most merchants set their payout preference to auto-convert to USD. The customer pays in crypto, we handle the conversion, you receive dollars to your bank. You never touch a wallet if you don't want to.
What's the catch with 1.99%? +
There isn't one. 1.99% is the all-in price per successful transaction. No monthly fees, no setup, no PCI compliance fees, no interchange. The number is the number. We take a slightly higher cut than the on-chain settlement cost and that's how the business works.
Is this safe for my customers? +
Yes. Customers pay from their own wallet to a checkout address we generate per order. They never give SouthPay their seed phrase, their card, or any sensitive credential. The transaction is on-chain and verifiable by them.
Do I need to understand crypto? +
No. No knowledge of crypto is required. You accept the payment and we send it to your bank account on whatever payout schedule you choose. The complexity stays on our side.
Do I need to have multiple wallets? +
No. We do a single payout to whatever wallet (or bank account) you're already using - even if your customers pay with 60+ different cryptocurrencies across multiple chains.
My category is "high-risk". Will you onboard me? +

What about the volatility risk? +

How fast can I install? +

What about refunds? +
You can issue refunds from the dashboard. The customer gets refunded in the same currency they paid in (or their choice if you prefer). Because there are no chargebacks, you're never refunded against your will, only when you actively choose to.
